Thanks for the feed back &amp; kind comments. My love of dragons is such that I couldn't leave this one in it's hour of need! I guess the Green Tiger Beetle would have been able to survive for a long time on the Chaser, but I doubt it would have ever successfully dragged the dragonfly into it's burrow because of the mass of the thorax and the wings. It would perhaps have been interesting to see if the larva would eat it's way out of the burrow to consume the thorax above ground, but I am too much of a softie to let that happen!
